ARCHITECTURE/OBJECT PLANNING

The successful, in the IT-branch active, company instructed us with the second stage of construction on its location in Harmannsdorf by Chemnitz. The architecture should connect absolutely seamless to the existing building complex. This, at first sight task, proved to be challenging due to the halls being totally different heights, construction claims (if possible without columns) and fire protecting necessity. As a result of the joint work between client and architect, the building, including 2nd section, appeales to be "out of one piece". Inside the task was to dovetail the available and new production-, transport-, and communication routes, if possible barrier-free. Complete were adjusted during operation while new and sometimes radically changed in order to equip the entire company professionally for the future. The new building, reconstruction and extension without shut-down, were demanding a high concentration from all of the involved persons and especially from our architects and engineers.
