STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
Our structural engineers could draw on their experiences in the field of planning and construction in existing buildings for the near to column-free interior and the pending roof construction in combination with the maximum preservation of existing building structure. Nevertheless, the challenge lay in the detail - for example in the minimum possible thickness of the construction of the roof ellipsis. Creative technical engineered solutions were demanded for the preservation and restoration of the buildings circulated roof deck, necessary roof pitches and minimum possible concrete covers to ensure the overall slimness of the constructions.
