STRUCTUAL ENGINEERING

High comfort with optimal noise control but also glass elevators arranged in the stairway, as well as generously self-supporting balcony-terraces on the south side of the building, were the challenges for the stress analysts and technical designers of the C&E GmbH with this project. Of advantage was in addition the short and uncomplicated way for our building ground specialists, since the owner had referred to characteristics due to war effects on his property. The problem has been solved by an optimally reinforced bottom slab and the renouncement of constructing a basement under the building. Optimal stability securing efforts for the protection of the neighbour buildings during the construction period belonged naturally to our scope of services.
