STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

Part object - Pawnshop
For extensive building service installations as well as for the exchange of the complete fire protection measures partly complicated wall and ceiling breakthroughs were required. Load tests were carried out and as a result ceiling transfer structures and ceiling exchanges calculated and installed.

Part object - new construction of an archive
The extension located at the north-eastern gable end of the main building had to be completely gutted and only the outer listed shell was obtained. Within the exterior walls a steel structure optimized on a rolling storage shelf was built up, which ultimately adapted the type of a high-bay warehouse at the site. The construction is planned so that a subsequent expansion to a total of 7 floors as well as continuation of the static structure as well as a temporary solution with containers is possible. Particular demands for the static construction were made by the minimum deflection due to the rolling shelves. The archive will grow almost out of the extension.
