Extension Building Primary School in Weißenborn
The heat supply of the extension building was realized via the gas-fired boiler of theexisting building. Therefor an outlet and a buried heating pipeline corridor from the existing heating room to the technical area in the extension building have been built. For the heating of the assembly hall and the classrooms is realized with under-floor heating. The heating can be regulated room by room via electronic thermostats.
A central ventilation system has been installed for the assembly hall. To achieve a reduction of operation costs the system is equipped with a heat recovery (ca. 80 %) and a demand-oriented regulation.
For summery heat insulation an earth to air heat exchanger, which is located beneath the bottom plate of the building.
Additionally the ventilation system shall be used to ventilate and to maintain the temperature in the classrooms. Thus, a utilization of the classroom without regular window ventilation as well as a significant reduction of ventilation related heat losses can be achieved.
In the basement an electrical / technical operation room, so that the building can be connected to electric energy grid on direct way from the street.
A lightening protection system has been installed according to the DIN VDE (Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies) standard V 0185. The evaluation of the lightening protection class of the building was realized with a risk assessment according to VdS 2010.
