Construction of an outpatient Rehabilitation Centre in Plauen
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
In the northeastern part of plauen an outpatient centre for rehabilitation was built. Besides to the rehab with focus on orthopaedics, the centre offers physiatrics, ergotherapy, speech therapy, nutritional consulting, medical strengthening therapy, health- and preventative courses on an area of 2,800 m². Also a public sauna and a large exercise pool complete the portfolio of individual training and therapy. The centre consists of a two-storied main building with an underground garage and the bathhouse. Both buildings are connected. In the cellar of the bathhouse all necessary technology is located. The following services were realized:
Main Building
- precast concrete skeleton construction with stiffening staicases and walls
- flat ceilings in the grid of the supporting structures 5.10m x 6.25 m
- Roof Structure for both buildings and the connecting structure
Bathhouse
- precast concrete skeleton construction with stiffening brackets
- Roof structure in wooden design
